Hello, Harmon Families!
Welcome to Harmon Elementary! Harmon is committed to fostering academic excellence! Harmon Elementary is home to just over 320 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our dedicated staff of energetic, creative, and talented teachers deliver an engaging curriculum that captures the unique interests of each child.
As we move into the 2025 - 2026 school year, we are excited to be working with your family. We are excited to bring back our entire Harmon team from last year! Before the new year gets started, let us celebrate our attendance accomplishments for the 24 -25 Harmon school year:
- Decreased scholar absences by 685, which translated into 4,795 additional hours of learning.
- Celebrated 92.8% of scholars as HERO’s.
- HERE-EVERYDAY-READY TO LEARN-ON TIME)
- These scholars had 100% attendance throughout the learning week.
Our Harmon scholars have a variety of activities that enhance their educational experience. Various building teachers assist in leading each of these activities. These activities include:
- Safety Patrol (for Grade 5)
- Green Team & Gardening Club (Harmon is a Macomb County Green School)
- Chess Club (for Grades 4 and 5)
- Girls on the Run
- Student Council
- Daily Broadcast Team
You will have the opportunity to identify your scholar’s teacher through the PowerSchool Parent Portal after 4pm on Friday, August 22nd.
